The position of PG Coordinator is now available

The Society for Italian Studies is currently looking for a new Post Graduate Coordinator to join the Executive Committee.

The role holder will be responsible for coordinating and supporting our PG representatives in a number of ways but will be especially involved in a strategic and leading capacity with

  • the organisation of the annual postgraduate conference;
  • liaising with the postgraduate representatives to bring forward issues, concerns, ideas to the Executive Committee;
  • support the SIS postgraduate community with organising training/skills/mentoring and related initiatives.

This portfolio would be ideally suited for a colleague with experience working with postgraduate students, ideally in a supervisory position, and organizing conferences. If you are interested in joining our team and would like to discuss informally the post, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Society’s Secretary, Dr Claudia Rossignoli (cr41@st-andrews.ac.uk) or with the Society’s Chair, Prof. Simon Gilson (simon.gilson@mod-langs.ox.ac.uk).
