    Declan Blench

    has a degree in German and Italian from the University of Glasgow and an MA in Interpreting and Translation from the University of Bath. He is an EU-accredited interpreter, and is currently living in Brussels interpreting at the European Commission. He is also a freelance translator for Amazon UK.

        Ella Ide

        has an undergraduate degree in Italian from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Italian Cinema from the University of Cambridge. She now works in Rome as a journalist for the Agence France Presse news agency and covers Italian stories for the international media.

            James Ramsden

            graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in French and Italian in 2009. Since graduation, he has built a career as a cookery writer and freelance food journalist, writing for the Guardian, the Times, the Financial Times, Sainsbury’s Magazine, and various others. He has recently published his fourth cookery book. He lives in London and uses his Italian on research and press trips to Italy.

                Virginia Stuart-Taylor

                graduated with a degree in Italian and Spanish (with proficiency in Portuguese) from the University of Exeter in 2012. She works in London as Commercial Strategy and Planning Manager at O2 (Telefónica UK). Previously she worked with Telefónica in Madrid, using her Italian to manage the relationship with Telecom Italia. She is also a travel blogger and journalist.

                    James Xi Xu

                    is originally from China and holds a BA in Italian and Management Studies from University College London. He is currently a Management Consultant for Ernst and Young working on international projects. He has used his Italian in previous jobs with the London Olympics and Chelsea Football Club. In 2011, he was named the UK International Student of the Year by the British Council.
