The Society for Italian Studies is delighted to announce that the winner of its 2014-15 Postgraduate Prize is Pam Krist of Royal Holloway, University of London, whose work,  ‘A Fountain for Memory: The Trevi Flow of Power and Transcultural Performance’ was praised as ‘an excellent piece of highly original research’ by the judges, who felt that it was well-crafted, rigorous, theoretically informed and convincing.

The quality of the entries was extremely high this year and all entrants are to be commended for the quality of their work, which is indicative of the very high level of research being undertaken by students working on Italian topics across the UK and Ireland.  Congratulations to Pam and to all who submitted work to the competition.
