We are delighted to announce that Dr Alice Parrinello was awarded the 2024 SIS EDI Excellence Award. The Society has chosen to award Dr Parrinello for the organisation of the conference New Queer South. Perspectives on Italian Society and Culture, held at the University of Oxford on 21-22 September 2023. The conference was sponsored by the Society for Italian Studies, the Association for the Study of Modern Italy, and Intersectional Humanities Oxford.
