The organizers of the SIS biennial conference are pleased to share the provisional programme here.

Registration for the conference is now open at until 13 April. Please register before 1st April in order to take advantage of the lower rate, and note that there is a lower, subsidized rate for PhD students, independent scholars, and those who have retired. The registration pages include all details about accommodation on campus. You may register for a single day, for both days, and/or for the online conference. The registration fee includes lunch, coffee break refreshments, and the reception on the evening of the first day, followed by a dinner (bookable separately).
Registrants are required to be members of the Society for Italian Studies. Details on becoming a member are available on the SIS website under ‘Membership’ (the Chrome browser seems to work best). If you are uncertain whether or not you are a member, please get in touch with Dr Kate Mitchell (
